Learn how to backbend with clarity, openness and space without feeling uncomfortable.
With the right skill set, backbends can be exhilarating, they help to open up the respiratory system, increase flexibility and strength in the spine and greatly improve posture. With anatomy explained in simple terms, we will explore a range of postures from foundational prone backbends that strengthen the spine to more advanced asanas with modifications and options for all.
This workshop is for every’body’ from beginner to seasoned yogi. The session will help to stretch and strengthen in turn relieving niggles caused by our habitual daily lives – cycling, picking up the kids, slouching over the phone, hunching over a desk…..the list is endless.
